Junction Café started as a dream in Tannum Sands, where Melissa Smart first worked as the cafes chef before taking over the café with her husband, Matthew, in 2018. From day one, their goal was simple—create a welcoming, community-focused space where locals could gather over great coffee and fresh, delicious food.

Over the years, Junction Café became more than just a café. With a commitment to quality and inclusivity, Mel and her team introduced a diverse menu catering to all dietary needs, from hearty classics to vegan and gluten-free options. As the café grew, so did the vision.
